When I first moved to California, I was homesick. I missed my family and friends in Georgia, but above all, I missed the food. From the moment I walked into Brenda's French Soul Food on Polk St., I felt at home again. I redesigned Brenda’s because I didn’t feel that their current identity did justice to the vibrant spirit and cuisine of New Orleans and the South in general. I decided that a full identity system should combine French and southern influences with consideration to California audiences. The new consistent look and feel includes a new color palette and icon system that helps to round out the brand.
